Leigh and Mike Harting opened the brewery in December 2013 with head brewer Ty Weaver ... the name comes from the question of how to put their three daughters through college. It started in a 1,600 square foot tasting room and now fills a large warehouse the brewery says serves over 250,000 guests a year. I Love the Burg calls it the biggest brewery in St. Pete, with more than 40 taps of beer, cider, hard seltzer and sangria. This is the original location; a Clearwater Beach taproom and an airport bar came in 2022.
A French wine bistro a block off Beach Drive with a menu that changes by season, from French onion soup and foie gras torchon to tuna carpaccio and beef tartare. It pours nearly 100 wines chosen by sommeliers and builds charcuterie boards to order.
A family-owned brewery in the Warehouse Arts District that opened in 2020 and added a barbecue kitchen and cocktails. Its concerts have moved into a dedicated event space called Bayboro Live. I Love the Burg points to the big beer garden.
Caddy's calls this one 'The Original', the beach bar on Sunset Beach that the Madeira Beach and Indian Shores rooms grew from. Helene's surge in September 2024 buried it in sand and debris and Milton tore the roof days later; owner Marcus Winters told Tampa Bay 28 'It was like a warzone.' The building was gutted, lifted and rebuilt to current code while the bar ran out of a big tent under a Treasure Island emergency measure Winters credits with saving the business. It reopened in the rebuilt building with a ribbon cutting about 18 months after the storms, around 1 April 2026, with roughly 135 staff back at work.

Twenty taps of beer, wine and kombucha and a stage that the brewery says has full bands most nights of the week. Sister kitchen Kraken Joe's Pizza cooks in an oak-fired brick oven on site. I Love the Burg notes the covered and uncovered seating and the arcade games.
A wine bar with self-serve wine machines, so you can sample before committing to a glass or a bottle. The food is charcuterie, flatbreads, crepes and paninis, and the room runs tastings and wine classes. Mondays are kept for private events.
Elliott Aster is the signature restaurant at The Vinoy, a collaboration between the resort, chef Lee Wolen and Chicago's Boka Restaurant Group. It opened on 20 May 2025 and was added to the MICHELIN Guide Florida a year later. The guide describes an Italian-inspired steakhouse with high ceilings and large chandeliers ... wood-fired steaks, house-made pastas, focaccia rolls, radiatore alla vodka and a caramel coffee budino. There is an antipasti bar, a lounge that opens before the dining room, and a Sunday brunch. Wolen was a 2025 James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Chef for his Chicago work.
Open since 1992 across the street from Tropicana Field, Ferg's has grown to nearly two city blocks and eleven separate bars and rooms, including Ferg's Dog Park & Grill, a clubhouse with a DJ booth and the St. Pete Axe & Ale axe-throwing room. USA Today readers named it the best sports bar in America in 2025, and it won Best Sports Bar at the 2026 Visit St. Pete-Clearwater Besties. Food trucks such as Vinnie's Pies and Maxi Empanadas park inside, and you can order from your phone.
The Falkenstein family from Baltimore bought the site in 1977 and built the restaurant out of what was left of an old hotel. The spot had held Page's Pavilion bathhouse, built in 1912, and later the Casa Bonita Hotel. The family added the first floor in 1986 and the upper floors, a banquet room and the rooftop bar in 1990. The roof deck, the Hurricane Watch, has two bars and a full-circle view of Pass-a-Grille. The grouper sandwich is the dish the restaurant puts forward.
Opened in August 2024 in the space that was 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House. Shawn and Jeanna Damkoehler bought that restaurant in 2021, ran it under the old name until 2023, then rebuilt it with the design firm AvroKO around Aesop's fable of Juno and the peacock. St. Pete Catalyst reported it as the only Florida restaurant serving Dean & Peeler steaks, dry-aged 45, 65 or 90 days. The Pluma lounge next door keeps more than 1,400 wines, and the patio faces North Straub Park and the yacht basins.
This is the old Sea Critters Cafe on the bay side of Pass-a-Grille. Regulars Charles and Helen Collom bought it in 2022, renamed it, rebuilt the dock and kept most of the staff. Boats can tie up at the dock and the kitchen will cook your catch. The restaurant's site carries a memorial to Charles Lee Collom.
A cocktail and cigar lounge with live music seven nights a week, sets usually starting at 6:30pm, and a Thursday night jazz session hosted by Le Jazz. It is paired with Central Cigars and keeps a temperature-controlled humidor ... smoking is allowed inside. The bar says it has more than 25 years behind it.
A family-owned distillery founded in 2014 that mashes, ferments, distills and ages on site. Its labels include Old St. Pete whiskey, gin, rum and vodka, Tippler's Reserve bourbon, Banyan Reserve vodka and Oak & Palm coconut rum. There is a tasting room with tours and a speakeasy bar that opens Thursday to Saturday nights.
The Beach Drive original of a scratch-kitchen tavern from the same owners as BellaBrava a few doors down; a second Stillwaters has since opened in Land O' Lakes. It pours 20 regional beers, wines and cocktails on tap and makes its own sausages in house. Its Cuban sandwich is built on La Segunda Cuban bread with smoked ham, mojo pork and a pickled apple slaw.
A locally owned cocktail bar and kitchen downtown with more than 700 spirit labels on the back bar, about 200 of them whiskies, and 14 beer taps. The kitchen sends out shareable plates late.
A tiki bar and restaurant on the water at the St. Pete end of the Gandy Bridge, tagged by its own site with #comebylandorbysea. Suncoast Family Fun puts it first on its Pinellas list because tables sit on the sand where children can dig, and an old boat ramp lets them play at the water's edge with a table beside it. The own site books weddings, rehearsal dinners and birthdays under the tikis.
A veteran-owned room that calls itself St. Pete's first self-pour wine and bourbon tasting lounge. Machines dispense 32 wines and 16 bourbons in tasting, half and full pours, with small bites such as whipped feta and meatballs. Tuesday is trivia night at 7.
The flagship of Horse Soldier Bourbon's restaurant arm ... 16,000 square feet over two floors in the Warehouse Arts District and the original home of the brand's bourbon tasting experience. The kitchen is built around a wood-fired grill. A second Urban Stillhouse has since opened in Somerset, Kentucky, and the company calls St. Pete 'the standard against which every Urban Stillhouse is measured'. It hosts ticketed wine dinners and a Halloween party, Spirits After Dark, set for 30 October 2026.
A tavern in a century-old farmhouse on 4th Street North with a summer orchard and verandas, built around what it calls the spirit of Old Florida. Happy hour is half off drafts, house wines and wells. Its site also lists a Beach Drive Walk Up Cafe at 400 Beach Dr and a Gulfport drive-thru.
